Compact HSM
USB-attached Hardware Security Module (HSM) that combines the usability of a USB token with the performance of a full-featured HSM. The USB interface provides an effective solution for certificate store in virtualized environments.
About the Product
The Compact HSM is a USB-attached, tamper resistant, Hardware Security Module (HSM). Available in two form factors, it can be installed inside a server/workstation or used as a standard USB peripheral. Featuring industry standard APIs (MS CSP, JCA, PKCS11), it provides an easy upgrade path for existing smartcard or token applications. The USB interface allows the device to be used inside virtual machines, without the need for special drivers. The Compact HSM also provides for extremely scalable solutions, with easy parallelization, backup, and hot-swap features, perfect for virtualized environments.
